WELL DONE To all fifteen students who were the first students in the Republic of Ireland to take their Guilford School of Acting Musical Theatre Singing Exams through the University of Surrey. Students from both Shannon Star Stage School and private students of Bryan’s ranging from 8 years up to over 40 years of age. Students took exams between Grade 2 and Grade 6 with three students achieving Destinctions and a further 10 getting Merits with two students getting strong passes. Well done again to all and best of luck to those who will be taking their Grade 8 in December 2011.

NEXT EXAM SESSION - Closing date will be October 2011 & final exam session with be 1st Feb. for March / April exam session in 2012.

LINDA FITZGERALD - Well done to Linda who got to the Quarter Finals and Live TV performance on RTE on Valentines Night February 14th 2010. Linda did her entire family and parish of Camp along with the Stage School very proud and we are certin to see a big and bright future for this Star!

CAOIMHE GARVEY - Caoimhe who is a former student of Shannon Star Stage School and vocal student of Bryan’s has been doing fantastic in the current FAME - The Musical Programme on RTE 1 Sundays at 6.30pm. Caoimhe is a native of Tralee and is currently doing an Arts and Languages Degree in UCC. It has been a daunting task for her to to perform LIVE each Sunday evening live on national TV but Caoimhe is giving it her best shot and all her former Students and Teachers are 100% behind her.
